Founded by two university students with a passion for healthy-living and technology, eatsimple is a modern, pioneering company with the goal of building an advanced, interconnected food system, powered by modern technology and quality products from your local areas. Our vision is to give a voice to those producers who work long hours to produce the highest quality, to be as transparent as possible, and to push what it means to sell groceries - "more than food".

Angelos Gustav Panou

Angelos has always had one foot in many worlds — half Swedish, half Greek, born in Scotland, and raised in the heart of Silicon Valley. Growing up in a tech-driven environment and being part of a STEM program from an young age, technology became second nature to him — not just a tool, but a sort of way of life. His international background shaped a varied perspective on food, culture, and systems, while Silicon Valley developed a mindset of innovation and possibility. Eatsimple is where these worlds meet: a mission-driven effort to modernize the way we think about food, sustainability, and everyday habits.

Alex Karlsson

Alex was born and raised in Vimmerby, Småland, and has always been passionate about a wide range of interests. He set out to study with the goal of learning as much as possible—about both himself and the skills needed for a meaningful career. Three years later, after completing a degree in International Business, living in Switzerland and experiencing life in a big city, all of those passions came together in one project: Eatsimple. Here, he blends health, efficiency and sustainable development to create solutions that make everyday life easier, healthier and more enjoyable. His aim is to bridge the gap between vision and reality, and to offer Sweden a better food system.
